Yesterday saw the official launch of Deutsche Telekom’s M2M Marketplace, a platform for manufacturers and businesses from across the globe to offer their hardware, software, apps and total solutions relating to M2M communication. It is hoped that the Marketplace will offer manufacturers an additional global distribution channel to complement existing sales outlet, as well as providing interested parties with a simple and convenient means of comparing products and services on an international scale.
Deutsche Telekom’s Chief Product and Innovation Officer, Thomas Kiessling, commented on the launch:
“Our M2M Marketplace makes it easy for our partners to market their offers around the world. Anyone looking for an M2M solution to optimise their business will find what they need on our marketplace. The Marketplace brings together global supply and demand for M2M solutions in a straightforward way, thereby lending greater dynamism to M2M business.”
