SYSPRO, a leading provider of ERP software, has announced that Inelba, an Ecuadorian-based producer of lighting products, has selected SYSPRO ERP software after an extensive search that included, among other ERP vendors, Microsoft and Infor.
Inelba General Manager, Daniel Vasconez said: “We selected SYSPRO because it’s a strong ERP solution from an organization with extensive expertise in the SMB market space.”
He said that SYSPRO also offered a distinct advantage in features and prices.
Inelba is an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer of lighting ballasts and associated lighting products. It had been utilizing non-integrated software to handle company Financials and Manufacturing Planning. However, the company’s need to implement more efficient production planning and determine the real costs of its manufactured products were the primary reasons the company initiated an ERP software search.
Vasconez said that Inelba is looking to SYSPRO software for better cost controls, superior production planning and inventory optimization.
He also noted that by providing a real-time picture of company conditions, the software will enable Inelba management to make more effective business decisions.
