The second annual 'power list' was published in RISI's July Pulp and Paper International magazine.

Rubright was also nominated as a Top Five Finalist in the category of 2009 Global CEO of the Year, for the annual PPI Awards, to be held in Munich, Germany this October.

RISI said of Rubright: "Lawyer trained, but also an astute businessman, Rubright has made some shrewd acquisitions for RockTenn, turning what was once a marginal player into a significant one in the packaging market."

It is not the first time Rubright has been recognised for his expertise within the industry. He was named 2009 Executive Papermaker of the Year by PaperAge, the leading industry publication for paper industry professionals, and 2008 RISI North American CEO of the Year by RISI.
