PP Electrical System’s new Sales Director, Tony Glasscoe, has laid out what he believes will help drive the company to achieving £50m by 2015. Glasscoe believes PP’s ability to take on the full spectrum of electrical, electromechanical and electronic assemblies and control systems will provide the company with a huge competitive advantage over rival businesses which can’t offer the same flexibility or scale.
Maximising the potential of PP’s new technical and sales office in Hamburg, coupled with growing interest from the US and North American markets, was also cited as being crucial by the former engineering apprentice.

Previously holding senior positions at Schneider and Weidmuller, Glasscoe commented on his new role:
“I’m delighted to be joining the business at what is an extremely exciting period in its development. We currently provide bespoke manufacturing solutions to no fewer than 12 of the world’s number one machinery manufacturers, and this number is growing.”
PP Electrical Systems is often the first crucial link in a supply chain that will eventually result in influencing the performance of a F1 car, how a potentially life-saving medical examination is conducted or how renewable energy is captured.
Glasscoe concluded:
“In today’s competitive environment, clients are looking for more of a partnership approach, an approach where we can get involved from the design stages right through to the assembly of the control system/panels and, increasingly, in the mechanical and hydraulic build. It is this complete turnkey service that I’ve been brought in to push even further, both at home and in overseas markets.”
