According to Kia fuel consumption isn't the only green issue affecting cars today, the production process also plays a big part in reducing the company's environmental impact. In order to be as eco-friendly as possible, Kia has various initiatives in place.
Right from the initial design stage, Kia models undergo a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to discover how harmful a specific vehicle may be to the environment. The all new Picanto, Rio, Optima and Sportage have all been certified according to the ISO 14040 LCA for low exhaust emissions and advanced processes used in production.
